2001

The 2001 Saskatchewan Oil & Gas Show was once again a total sell out. Corporate Sponsors for this Show were SaskEnergy, SaskPower, Apache Canada Limited, PanCanadian Resources, and Nexen / Wascana Energy Inc. Again, an impressive amount of equipment and technology was displayed by the exhibitors. A Golf Tournament and Barbeque with steak and lobster as well as the Awards Banquet and ceremonies added to the social aspect of the Show.

The Awards and Opening Ceremonies and banquet drew 835 people. The Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year Award was presented to PanCanadian Petroleum Limited’s Weyburn CO2 Flood Project– Darcy Cretin, Susan Hancock, Brian Stevens.

A PSAC endorsed show

The Hall of Fame Inductees were Ron Kuchinka, Lorne Larson, John Lendvoy, Bob Pierce, Helen Turgeon and Doug Baldwin.

Plan to attend  the  2009 Show.

The SE Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year was presented to Norm Mondor of Aldon Oils.
