2003

The 2003 Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show was completely sold out with 210 companies showing their wares in 284 exhibit spaces. Corporate Sponsors for the Show were SaskEnergy, SaskPower, Apache Canada Limited, EnCana Corporation, Saskatchewan Industry and Resources, Petroleum Division and Nexen – Canada Limited. The exhibits of equipment and technology were very impressive. A Golf Tournament and Barbecue of steak and lobster as well as the Awards Ceremony and Banquet brought added interest to the Show.

The Awards, Opening Ceremonies and Banquet were attended by 900 people. The Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year  Award was presented to Clayton Woitas of Profico Energy Management Ltd.

The Hall of Fame Inducteeswere Ken Lee of Midale Petroleums Ltd., Jerry Mainil of Jerry Mainil Ltd., Frank Proto, chair of Petroleum Technology Research Centre in Regina, Naisie Schnell retired from Franklin and IPSCO Inc.
