1985The June 1985 Show attracted 220 exhibitors and 7200 visitors and was such an outstanding success, the oil and gas industry encouraged us to continue to have shows on the alternate years to the Calgary National Show which is in June of the even numbered years. |

1987The June 1987 Show was a little slower than in 1985 due to the downturn in the industry, but still attracted 160 exhibitors and 4500 in attendance. The highlight of the 1987 Show was an industry 1st in Energy Seminars. We sponsored a panel of Federal and Provincial Energy Ministers, and a representative of all the major Industry Associations. It was held before a large audience of industry people from all over Canada. |
